Who is Mahidol University Graduate Language Center?

The Faculty of Graduate Studies’ Language Center strives to enhance the language skills to promote research of the Mahidol graduate student body, staff and faculties, and also, on occasion, extends its services to the community at large.

The Language Center is an office of the Faculty of Graduate Studies, located in the Graduate Studies Building, Salaya campus of Mahidol University. Established in 2543 B.E. (2000 C.E.) it provides various aspects of language and learning support within the area of graduate studies. Our daily activities help to encourage and support English development and the enhancement of academic skills both within the Faculty and among the Faculty members, and also among graduate students, Thai and international. Related to this, of course, we are involved in the development of English proficiency and academic skills displayed in the research of every Mahidol Faculty.

Our friendly Thai and international staff are always willing to offer help and support to those who ask.

As our overriding objective we believe in promoting and developing the successful communication of research in an international context. Our mission is to offer staff and students the chance to develop their language and academic skills, particularly in English, so that they can communicate successfully in a wide variety of contexts.
